How the Grinches Stole Christmas

Our kitties are adorable. We know they are also pests, but we didn't know they were Grinches! We were really excited to set up our first Christmas tree, but apparently Bert and Ernie didn't like that idea. At first they were cute and took a nap together under the tree.

Then they decided to play in the tree.

And then completely destroy it.

And then burn my festive holiday oven mitt.Actually, that last one was me forgetting to turn the stove off. But we decided to punish them anyway. We put them away in the kitty drawer for a while to think about what they did.
They both crawled in there when I was doing dishes so I couldn't help myself. I closed the drawer and took a picture. You can kind of see Ernie's head poking out of the crack. They are quite a handful, but they're pretty cute. They're currently snuggling next to me as I type this. I think they feel bad for destroying Christmas.

Hair cut!

Hello again!

I got a hair cut! It's been about 2 weeks now so I think it's about time to let the world see my new makeover!

This is a picture of what my hair looked like before. This is the longest I have had my hair since I was 3 years old. Also note how curly it is. This is weird because my hair has been straight most of my life. Ask my mom, it actually used to stick straight up!






I had kind of a hard time getting a good picture of the haircut, but you can get the basic idea from this picture. I was home alone and Bert was attacking the camera while I was taking the picture. I really like it. I think Josh wishes it was still long but I don't care. I wish his hair was longer. So there.

Just for fun, here is a picture of my dog! Isn't she cute?

This is Fifi in her favorite position: belly up. She LOVES to have her belly scratched. This is also one of the few instances that she's sitting still (she's a little psychotic).
