Once a Month
I thought I'd keep up with my tradition of posting once a month by taking the opportunity to let everyone know that I got a new job. To answer your questions:
No, I wasn't looking for a job, it was looking for me.
I mean, I was called by someone who unofficially offered me the job and then I had to apply and jump through other legal hoops to get it.
His name is Jacob, I used to work with him at ********* ****** *****, ***. (I have been asked to not mention the name of my company on my blog).
In two weeks, on the 16th.
Yes, it still is HR and Safety.
Yes, speaking Spanish is something I'll continue to do.
No, it's not agriculture...but it still is food processing.
Meat Packing.
Yes, it pays more.
Yes, better benefits too.
We'll see...(I'm not sure what it was you asked that time, so I thought I'd give a vague noncommittal response).
No, it's not in Corvallis.
Silverton, OR.
I know, I hadn't heard of it either.
It's a small town about 15 minutes NE of Salem.
Yes, we will be moving.
Salem.
No, we haven't found a place yet...but that's okay. We won't be moving until the end of March.
We are waiting almost two months to move because Brianne finishes the term then.
I'm not sure yet (I didn't hear the question, but I didn't want to ask you to repeat yourself).
No, she won't continue at OSU.
Yes, she will continue school.
Probably at Chemeketa, and then at Willamette.
I know, Chemeketa is a weird name for a school, but I didn't choose it.
No, I didn't forget to mention the name of the new company.
I figured since my current employer doesn't want me to name the company I shouldn't name the new one either.

This month I will probably post more than just this one time. I have some funny pictures of our kitties to show and I'll let everyone know how the new job is.
