Two weeks!

We found an apartment finally. We had been looking at one place in Salem and they looked really nice, but the managers were not very helpful and weren't there when we told them we would be coming by to turn in an application. So we gave up on them and started looking around again.

Last Friday we got a lot of addresses that we had gotten off of craigslist and on Saturday we went to check them out. We ended up driving by two places that I had seen on my commute before we checked out the ones on our list. We liked both of them, but the managers were out to lunch at the first one. So we stopped at the second one to ask about it and to make sure they were pet friendly.

The manager talked to us for a little bit about the apartments and then showed us hers. Then we went to look at an empty one and we really liked it. We applied right then. After we applied we decided to check out the other apartments we had on the list and that we would wait to hear back from these ones before we applied for any others.

On Tuesday, we got a call from the manager letting us know that we got approved. We were excited. We had to pay the deposit to reserve it until we move it. Now it's just a matter of waiting, packing and moving.

Well be moving in two weeks; on the 21st. We'll take pictures after we move and post those.
